Nebula System
About Our System:
The Nebula System was formed in March 2020, due to the former host, Sea, not being able to cope with current events and asking the universe for a thoughtform to help her. Because Sea has had childhood trauma related to current events, we consider our system type to be parotraumagenic, which means intentionally created as a result of trauma. However, many sysmates are not wholly parogenic. Meaning, many of our systemmates come from Sea's childhood trauma. Many sysmates came outside of Sea's conscious control. Still, parotraumagenic remains the most accurate word to describe us.
Meet The Sysmates
Marina
Age: 20's
Gender: Female
First appeared: March 2023, as a result of our former host Sea fusing with Virginia
Role: Host
Voice: Accent leans between South London and transatlantic.
Personality: A bit emotional, but far less so than her previous incarnation. Marina is kind and cordial usually, but will respond to ill intent with witty insults and biting sarcasm. She seems far more capable than her predecessor but can struggle from time to time with self-confidence issues.

(Greek name is pronounced Eff-em-EE-ah; goes by either the English or Greek pronunciations.)

Personality: Devout Hellenic Polytheist, loves soft things, is a soft thing. Likes flute music. Was there when the body took classes for Hellenismos. She once had a different name, but then split off into herself and Virginia. She hosted once before when the Nebula thought we were a singlet
Brynnjolf (Brynn)

Gender: male
First Appeared: Very vaguely and occasionally in 2014-2016. First fronted March 2020
Role: Semi-parogenic thoughtform, emotional and physical protector-persecutor, internal helper
Voice: Scottish accent
Personality: Gruff but kind, loves smoking, drinking, partying. Is rather Dionysiyan when he can afford to be, but he's also the strongest protector. He generally believes that life is war and war is hell, and one should savor little pleasures where one can. He has the most physical stamina of the group, and is the most able to ignore physical discomfort. He used to be a frequent fronter to help the body cope with pain and manage self-care. Now he only rarely comes out.
Minerva
Age: 37

First Appeared: Very vaguely in 2014-2015, first fronted March 2020
Role: Emotional protector, internal helper
Voice: authoritative British accent
Personality Kind, but very firm. Puts up with nothing, if she can help it. Blunt to the point, at times, of tactlessness, yet extremely charismatic when she means to be. Takes care of the Littles and serves as a Mary Poppins figure to them. Minerva is also the most interested in the care and keeping of the body. She is adamant that we quit using cannabis and will sometimes lock away our supply to attempt to ensure this.
Lily
Age: 7-10

Voice: strange accent, possible speech impediment. Still somehow kinda cute.
Personality: Feisty. She's generally the happy, carefree little. Speaks in third person. Loves gardening.
Deidamia
Age: Around 22
Role: emotional persecutor, physical protector-persecutor,

Personality: Deidamia, as of December 31st 2020, is a subsystem of two people: Deidamia herself and Lady Sativa.About Deidamia: "My personality is ---- you. I don't trust you. If you mistreat the system, I'm Vengeance itself. I will put you on blast to everyone you know and like it. My heart is made of ----ing tar but the rest of the system doesn't deserve to take s--- from anyone. I protect my system."I'm a lot less violent lately. Mostly I like system discourse and rap battles. I'm still bitter and sarcastic as ----, though.Deidamia is currently a frequent fronter. She often fronts with Lei co-con. She also holds most of our urge to use cannabis.

Personality: "I'm a zombie. I died when I was 10 and I don't have good memories about it. Other that that, I like cats because cats can be mummies, I like school and soft things and animal crackers and anything warm because I'm dead so I'm cold all the time."
Lei-Ara "Lei" Tehkun

Voice: American Accent
Personality: Is essentially Sea at age 14. RaNd0m, flighty, has frequent panic attacks, loyal to the point of fault, moody, relatively energetic, really loves her foster dad and often asks where he is. Doesn't seem to fully understand the passage of time or the resultant changes to our world. Lei has the most issues with social skills for her age among us.Lei is currently a frequent fronter.
Minette
Age: 5-10

Personality: Younger sister of Blaise. Loves learning and watching cartoons on Netflix. She once attended a virtual school for littles and adored it; we're in the process of reenrolling her.
Blaise
Age: 12, though she has been known to age up to 17 or 19 when co-con with Deidamia

Role: Middle/Social helper
Voice: slightly British accent
Personality: Bubbly, fiesty, tomboyish (though more feminine than they'd like to admit, I think), and very rebellious. Loves leopard print anything, lollipops, magazines with quizzes, and Charli XCX. Blaise is the most energetic and extroverted among us by far. If there's a social event Blaise is there, usually co-con with an adult.
Iliana
Age: 25

Voice: Very soft voice, american accent
Personality: In one word, private. At one point we thought she was a fusion. In the inner world, Illiana wears multiple layers of glittering, iridescent clothing so as to deter people from looking at her. Her appearance comes from a fantasy book series Sea once read. We are not sure if she is a fictive from the series. She is incredibly shy, although willing to stand up for herself rather than retreat to the inner world. She prefers to let others tell her about themselves rather than divulge anything about herself. But she seems kind and wants the best for the system.
Ailina (Αίλινα)

Role: Trauma-holder
Voice: Slightly contralto American accent, flat affect.
Personality: The definition of stoic apathy. Depressed and guilt-laden. Considers herself to be inherently dirty or impure. Sex-repulsed. Rarely fronts. We wish we could get her to front more when we need her skills.
"I was born in the caves. My name means 'Ritual Lament'. I hold the shame of something someone did, so that Euphemia and the rest of the system need not feel it.
Also, I just seem to absorb pain like a sponge. I front occasionally when we go through things as a system now that I no longer have to look after Nora."
Nora
Age: 12
Role: Parogenic, Thoughtform, Middle
First Appeared: March 2020
Voice: soft American accent
Personality: Sweet. Extremely skittish and shy to the point that she refuses to be depicted at all. Used to paint flowers when she fronted, now she rarely fronts when other people are around, because when she does, system rules get broken. Ailina or Illiana often cofront with her to prevent this; however, she's not a persecutor or the like. She is simply in strong disagreement with the rest of the system over what is good for us. She spends most of her time in her room in the inner world, or browsing the internet in the outer world when she does front.
"Kelly"

Voice: soft American accent
Personality: The youngest we've found so far; holds trauma memories and has an attachment to her comfort objects. Kelly does not like to speak with anyone outside the system, but she will front when we are alone, usually only with an adult part there.
Lyla
Age: 16
Role: Middle
First Appeared: October 15th, 2020
Voice: slightly Californian American accent
Personality: Sweet, loves interior design, chatty. She seems to be more extroverted than many of us and has a love for pastels and animal print. She is Euphemia's younger sibling; although they don't sound alike at all when they speak, the similarities become more apparent as you notice their typing styles.
Lottie
Age: 35
Role: Fictive, internal system helper

Voice: soft but firm british accent
Personality: Lottie does not like to talk about her source. She considers herself a spiritual sister to Minerva, and thinks that despite her source she may also be a split off of Minerva. More emotional than Minerva, but still very practically-minded. She's not quite so cold or stern as Minerva, though. She's more gentle, and more concerned with matters of the heart. She shares Minerva's forthrightness and tenacity, and desire for us to be sober. She has the final say on matters of the heart.
Bronagh
Age: 28
Role: Fictive, trauma holder

Voice: thick Irish accent
Personality: Bronagh is very much an emotional tank whose hobbies consist of smoking and watching the world burn. Being Brynnjolf's with younger sister, she shares his grizzled outlook, though she has less stamina than he does and when she has reached her limit, Bronagh will either switch out (usually to Virginia) or take Virginia's coping mechanism of crawling in bed and staying there. Bronagh has been voted most likely to start a pub sing along.
Kotomi

Voice: soft and delicate, slightly higher pitched
Personality: Kotomi, is a fictive of Kotomi Ichinose from Clannad. She does not like to front. She was created to please and impress someone who is no longer in our life. It is unknown how much she is like her source, but she loves to play her source game. She misses both her source parents dearly, and this longing may be linked to events in the outer world. She likes to play the violin In the inner world, and when we hear violin music in our head, we know she's nearby.
Melody

Voice type: does not speak to anyone outside headspace, so far
Other: enjoys dancing, listening to any kind of music that is "4/8D", swimming, and looking at/collecting lovely pictures with a rainbow aesthetic, as well as pictures of cats, with which she is sightly obsessed. Like Kelly, has a strong attachment to our material possessions. Often experiences anxiety, possibly related to emotional and/or physical overwhelm. It's unclear why, but Melody may front when we are overwhelmed. Our body is disabled and Melody is the only (sometimes) adult sysmate who shares the body's gait in the inner world.
Alexander/Alexios

About: Caretaker charged with soothing the littles and Melody. Not much yet is known about him but he gives off sunny vibes.
Deitra (Deet)

Date formed: May 3rd 2021
Role: Fictive, Caretaker, internal self helper, comforter
Other: This one was a very sudden and unexpected split. Deitra is a caretaker and nurturer, likely here to look after Melody and/or cope with executive dysfunction. She is unsure of how to bear the weight of the torch she has to carry, but hoping to light others' torches along the way.
Roxxi

About: Roxxi is an odd mixture of a faceting of our host and a parogen. She presents in the inner world as a few years younger than "her" memories claim, and she may have exomemories of a past life. She has body image difficulties, and loves Avril Lavigne.
